Hong Kong to London with 2 babies.

Has anyone any experience of flying with 2 babies? My girl will be 3y and my son will be 6m by the time of the travelling date. I'm so worry! Not sure if my husband and I can manage. Please share your experience with me. Thanks!

Re: Hong Kong to London with 2 babies.

We went to Canada when my twin were 18M. We reserved the front seats. There are more room for them to play. Also, we bought some gifts only for them to play during travel.

The recent trip to Japan, we reserved the last seats as there are comparatively more room and will not disturbed others. Usually, I will check if the seats is only two seats together, so we will have more privacy.

Re: Hong Kong to London with 2 babies.

Hi winwinpig,

Has the high pressure bothered your kids. Even when I was in the plain, I've got earache...so, I'm quite worry about this.

I didn't think of travelling with my son as I think he's too young to travel, but then my brother-in-law keep insisting that all of us should be there for his wedding and to take photos as a whole family.

Re: Hong Kong to London with 2 babies.

If your son gets earache, I suggest that you can give him some milk to drink during the plane is depature or landing.

You can book the fight which is departure at mid night, then your baby will sleep well. Most of airline staffs are caring and will give you the front seat and has a "basket/box" for baby to sleep. However, it is better if you request for it by yourself.

If you don't mind, you can ask your family doctor to prescribe some mild 'sleeping drug (such as the drug use in nasal congestion commonly)' for baby. For my experience, my son (13 months) got flu several days before of London trip. The doctor prescribed some sleeping drugs for him when he knew we would have a long fight. However, he (my son) no needed to use it since he slept well during the mid-night fight. I think that is O.K. for a baby just take it once.
