No worries. It is very common minor surgery. I even removed the whole thyroid. Voice still OK.
Normally only part of the thyroid will be removed and voice will not be affected.
Can go home after 2 nights at ward and can eat on the next day. No pain at all. Just feel nausea on the day of operation.
