Planned to buy a DC either Canon ixus 850 or Nikon S7. Which one is better?
However, reading from the web, many people said canon 850 is not good - 28mm not clear, problem on right corner of LCD. But someone aslo said the VR function of Nikon S7 is not effective.
I bought a 850IS a month ago knowing those issues mentioned by u, plus the RED EYE problem.
1) LCD problem: not a major issue and won't affect day-to-day usage.
2) Slight softness at the corners @28mm. But u won't notice them if u r not looking for them, nor would u be able to detect these in normal size photon print out. Remember, it's only a compact DC.
Go and try @ some shops and see it youself. Or download some demo shots from those reviews and print them out and check again.
