direct flight fm Macau to Sabah . Basically , I can use AirAsia network to travel in South East Asia region. You have to choose the city name Kota Kinabalu (BKI). It is the 首府 of 沙巴
HK agents of course will reject your case. Therefore I prefer book hotel on line. No restriction. After arrival, just go and check in . I will not tell the hotel how many persons will stay in one room. Actually, they are resort hotels and won't so strict on no of persons in one family. I am also 2 adults plus 2 children. The sizes of room and beds are big enough for the whole family.
According to the booking on line rules of the hotel Shangri-la Rasa Ria you mentioned Children under 12 yrs old enjoy the following:

Just back from Nexus Resort. Since Shangri-la rasa ria resort (SRR)was full, so I chose Nexus. But I regret to listen to my travel agent. Nexus is big but the hotel is old, very typical aged resort, not a stylish one. Swimming pools are made up by 3 small pools, water was not deep but still not clear. Breakfast buffet was just OK, you wouldn't say "wow", like other 5-star hotels in Phuket.The Shuttle bus to their Lagoon was a wreck, dusty, some windows were broken and even the door couldn't be shut and need a wire to tire up, never seen a 5-star shuttle bus like this, very funny!!! Nexus really need to renew their facilities i.e. bicycle, ping pong racquets, video and board games etc.
Both hotels are far from city, SSR is even 15 mins further away. We went to SSR's Asian restarurant for Xmas buffet dinner, they'd special performance at that night, food and performance were great! The restaurants looks more nicer than Nexus. We went to SSR again the next day during day time. My impression SSR is still better than Nexus and the kids' playground on the beach are fun. The indoor one looks small though. The water slides is longer and better than Nexus. Nexus has 2 tiny slides, just approx. 6-7 ft long.
I don't know how the room in SSR looks like, but the outlook of SSR is much better than Nexus.
My agent charge the same price for SSR & Nexus. But Nexus is really not worth that and hardly believe it's a 5 star!

But only some business type hotel not resort!!
I have check the price for 2audit +2kids, it only MOP15k including all tax. But I prefer resort hotel Shangri-la Rasa Ria .....can I upgrade it ? How can I contact the agent direct to check more details ?
