did your boss give enough compensation for that "layoff" ... if yes ...then rest for a month and find another job lar .... there are many opportunities... two of my colleagues just resigned as they found better offers outside ... and in fact, i plan to quit after taking maternity leave and CNY ....(my edd is in Sep) ... heehee because i want to change job lar ...
yes, my company gave me 1 month compensation salary....! But i lost my year end bonus, is over 2 months gar, becoz from our hotel, they will give you the bonus before CNY, so....I lost it.
Wow, after maternity leave, I agreed to resign, becoz u can take more time to live with your baby, it is really enjoyable......u can see how to grow up, smile, ....cry.....angry....etc.

This is redundancy by nature according to labour ordinance, so you should be entitled to all compensation for redundancy. You can claim them through the Labour Department, but you need to proof it. ie you need to proof "公司restructure, cut左我個位".
