How much for contract renewal

I am planning to renew my Indonesian maid. My agent's charge is as follows:

Employer - HK$2000
Maid - HK$1500

My maid said it is expensive and said her friends paid only a few hundreds.

Don't know how to proceed. Can other mommies share your experience.

My agent charge renew Indonesian maid. Charge Employer HKD2500 and the maid 10% HKD340, total add up is HKD2840 (I know some employer will share with her maid or employer pay HKD1800, then maid pay the HKD1440). I think its reasonable, because I have no time to go for renew by myself and knows its very very trouble.

try to fight with agent the price total $3000 (as inform my old maid since she just renew her contract with her employer. (i.e. $2500 + $500)

your maid said too expensive is right since she just earn $3400 per month and need to pay $1500 (means that 44% of her salary)
