any comment on this school? does N1 only has "whole day"?

我囝囝將會讀n1, 係呀佢地係全日，8:00入，4:30放學，但就開到 6:00pm, sat 就好似半日。我問過好多家坊，中文學校唔會有外籍老師，但中文都唔算淺。最大既好處就係d小朋友會學得好有紀律，唔偏食。 ... arm 哂我要求 ...becaise 我個囝曳。

i don't know if you remember, but you have given me some very good advise before, regarding nursery and spkg. thanks again.

8:00入，4:30放學- will the time be too long? no spare time for other learning/ interest class? 8am? how come i always see some students of this nursery at my elevator at 8:30am!

saturday have class too? what time? is it ok if no holiday for kids on saturday? even us adult wants 5days work la.

will such long hours at school make kids sick easily?

does 宣道會海怡 has open day?

Hi aprilk,

To my understanding, the school opens at 8:00am and the class starts at 9:00am. So u could bring your kid earlier there if u need to go to work.

There is classes on Sat but it is up to you to attend or not. (To facilitate those working parents as well).

Yes, they have open day. Last time I attended it in Dec 2006.

can you tell me why you choose this nursery instead of others? whats the advantages of whole day nursery class and whats the disadvantages?

aprilk ~ 你唔講開我都唔記得哈哈老la ~~ 我選 lee 間貪佢近，質數都算OK。我有個街坊就選啟思Nursery，貪佢訓完晏覺有外籍老師小朋友玩。另一個街坊讀緊 SPN, 學校話無學卷，N2 to N4 都係個個月5千幾。
宣道有學卷 N2 to N4, 學卷 around 千6。

宣道有學卷 N2 to N4, 學卷 around 千6 ..... you mean after the gov't subsidy, we pay approx. $1600/month??

hI APRILK,

It's my target to find a full day nursery. This is because I am a working mom and my son is taking care by my 99 daily.

I want him to learn how to take care of himself at school like how to finish a meal by himself. I am sure he could learn more at school than staying at home with my 99.

I live in Phase I. And U?

I am a bit nervous too. I am thinking whom is the best person to bring him to school at the first stage.
As my son like to stick with me, I am afraid if I bring him there, he will cry for a longer time. Anyway, at least I will bring them in the first three days coz I could stay with him!

我住4期，個囝又係乘日都 stick with me, 真係食晚飯都無得順順利利，。次次都俾佢癡實。我都係諗住請頭個3-4日既朝早。希望大家個囝都鐘意番學啦！

我無向學校個間 order 被同床墊，becos 我有好幾張錦上下size既被，學校話ok, 床墊我諗住向灣仔有間鋪車，$4x蚊張，我會車兩張，因為我覺得佢都戒唔到片住。
我e+1日洗around 10條底褲仔，個衰仔坐c坑當玩。 :-( :-( :-(

Hi bbho,

I ordered the 床墊 and 被 at school as I didn't know where to these items. But I didn't order the 被 for winter yet. Any suggestion to find one??

My son also 戒唔到片 ar!!! I let him put on 戒片 trouser at daytime but when he wants to wee wee, he will only pull it down and wee wee on the floor. :-( :-( :-(

if 戒唔到片, the teacher at school will help them to 戒片. Of course it would be better if our kids learn how to 戒片 before the school starts.

HI Tingfai ~ 我有床心，所以到時都係換被心。你去灣仔大有商場對面馬路咪有間星展銀行，銀行旁邊有間鋪專賣床單被既，你話佢海怡宣道佢就知, 有哂尺寸。
我個柯完向地仲向樹玩水tim ar ... C 未！ :mrgreen:

aprilk ~ 自已番學前識識地要vv 就要當然好啦，唔識咪老師攪掂囉。我問d fd, 真係好神奇架，一番學老師教兩日好過我地教兩個星期。
