No problem to buy for you, but I don't know how to handle the 支付寶?! Moreover, the terms there are difficult to understand, I need someone with buying experience in TB to help me understand the T&C, payment, shipment, etc.

BTW, what is 铜版纸? Is it the same quality as what we are having in Hong Kong?

Is SPC the one next to the hospital? Is Marymount the one in Happy Valley and a govt subsidized school?

If yes, then I would also prefer SPC to Marymount.

- I think so. I bought 2 Big6 Simpl version HYY from Book Fair, and the paper quality is the same as HK version ga. (asked my expert user i.e. piglet already and he confirmed they were the same paper quality)

Thanks for your vote. I prefer the same way. Interestingly, last nite I looked up MSS website. It posted all HKCEE & HKAL results publicly! I wasn't very impressed with A-level results, and I just learnt from my auntie that MSS used not to have any Science subjects in A-level until these few years, I suppose. The only consideration is my auntie is more certain with MSS than Convent. And my girl was born in Sep (youngest among the same grade) & Convent tends to cut off in Aug. If my auntie can't get pass this, we won't have a chance. Does anyone know if there are girls born in Sep but need not defer 1 school year? Thanks

Believe for subsidized schools, the least age requirement is 5yr and 8mth (ie Dec born). However, for private schools, depend on the school policy and as such, vary for schools. I knew some private school P1 students are younger than the subz !!

I went to Construction Bank this afternoon. The in-charge there told me that only RMB accounts opened by or credit cards issued by PRC banks in China can settle payment in TB. She advised me to go to Shenzhen to open a RMB account. However, have to deposit money in China thereafter. Otherwise, have to transfer money from Hong Kong to China account. Each time of transfer will cost handling charge of $220.

Are there any smarter ways?

Went with Piglet to ani.com expo today, sooooo many ppl ! Even more crowded than BkFair ! They only had Hall 1 so if they had more halls and spread it out, then the condition would be much better.

Just bought some Lego accessories (not the big sets cos these will be cheaper from Mkk anyway), and a few Tomy cars.

An adult ticket = 1 adult + 1 kid under 11y, and with a kid under 11y you can enter from Hall 1B, no need to queue up with the sweaty crowd at all. Piglet was, again, my Fast Pass ! :lol

RMM & KL,
Did u go to McDull Concert today? The part before the break was ok, but we left when taught the song with the lyrics "so dull u throw up"! My son didn't know what it meant. I was thinking, "if I don't feel good that he says it to me one day, that's not something I want him to pick up esp. in a concert I chose for him". I actually dosed off after the break, seeing some dads do the same too. Did u enjoy it?

It's a very good way of putting it : piglet = fast pass! I forgot to bring my fast pass the 2nd time I went to Book Fair & had to circle round Wanchai's buildings for at least 30 mins!

The payment at TB is not that difficult, you have to open:
- TB account
- 支付寳account
- Vertified your visa card (you can simply do it online)

To order and pay:
1) Click the item you want to order from TB (I normally check with the 店主 to make sure stock is available before clicking the item. ）

Note: Make sure to ask the 店主 to choose "運費由買家付" -〉otherwise you cannot process visa payment (I donno why)

2）Pay by 支付寳 (支付寳page will pop up automatically when you make your purchase on TB)
3) Pay by Visa -> forward to the Bank payment page, just follow the instruction until payment made

4) Transaction done (I will inform the 店主to 發貨）

For DVD/VCD, I ordered once 2 years ago on a Noddy cartoon set, to my surprise, it turned out to be a duplicated copy (bad quality, with TVC in between one of them, no printing on disc）. You'd better asked before you purchase.

銅板紙= Glossy paper or art paper.
Let me know if you need my help to do payment for TB order, but make sure it'll be what you wanted. The pictures always look better then the real product.

I am interested to buy the remaining Science Museum series books. My daughter likes the series very much. She find them more interesting than HS. Probably, they are not as crazy as HS.
