DIBP 個 website 其實資料好詳細, 唔怕煩我覺得自己攪係 OK 嘅, 因為 188 類 visa, agent 費基本都要十幾萬 (HKD) 起錶. 最緊要跟足佢地嘅 checklist 交文件, 同埋要搵人做 certified copies (用 agent 佢地就可以自動幫你做晒方便 d). 我地係用 188b 攪嘅, 你 search 下個 forum 可以搵到我之前嘅經驗分享.

我當時都係夠晒分但係 agent 第一個步驟就係叫我地兩公婆考晒 IELTS 先. 佢地講到係 requirement.

個額外費用應該對配偶都適用, 所以最好兩公婆都去考. "Functional English" 定義只係 IELTS 平均 4.5 (唔需要 4 項都 4.5), 應該幾容易. 主申請人要攞額外 5 分就要 "Vocational English", 即係 4 個 5, 都唔難.

代樓主答 - 188a 應該係頭兩年 TR, 冇 medicare, 讀 state school 唔肯定洗唔洗錢, 你最好直接問學校, 兩年後轉到 PR 就一定有齊兩樣.

我地係 188b, 要 TR 4 年先可以轉 PR, 而我地報私校, 佢地話 188 visa 係當 domestic student 收費, 唔洗畀 international student 價錢 (通常起碼貴一倍).

要先攞 State nomination, 之後先正式 visa application. 批左先可以過澳洲做生意。申請時要證明已經有達到要求(資金，年資，營業額等等)嘅做生意經驗.

Brisbane 就唔知, 不過 Gold Coast 除左最 top 嗰兩間未必有位, 大部份私校都會有少少位, 如果小朋友成績好, 甚至可能有 offer 獎學金免學費(要交雜費).

For 188b, I don't think the requirements ask for $1.5m profits. You only need to be holding an investment portfolio worth no less than $1.5m for a certain period of time (and that you have been an overall successful investor), and be able to provide proof that you accumulated that wealth through legal means.

I think for many people a large chunk of the "profit" would be from real estate holdings that increase in value significantly over the years, or at least that's the case for us. We did also provide the majority of our $1.5mil funding through re-mortgaging one of our properties so that satisfied the requirement. You do need to provide a funding plan at the final stage which the case official needs to approve, i.e. your source of funds must satisfy their requirements. I believe "accumulated" could also apply to salaries you have earned and saved besides the investment or business profits.
