我都是Nebraska. NOA 1 is JULY 2017, 我估我要下年中先收到NOA2, 因為Nebraska超級慢, 另因開學問題, 我訂左老公同兩個仔下年6月返去先, 而家見個CENTER越來越慢, 真係得個等等等~~

好擔心兩個仔見我唔到會痴左~~

Same situation. Priority date is May 2017.

I may have to move first with the kids next July.

Not really....

Still have a month or two before we can move to the NVC process (besides NVC won't start until 2-3 weeks after NOA-2 is received).

Going to use my dad as a joint sponsor and have my bro write a letter saying that we can stay with him. We have gotten the IRS transcripts for the past 3 years for both myself and my dad though. Hopefully, we will move to NVC stage before April 15th!

The only thing that is difficult would be to proof intention to move back.

joint sponsor - i only have one with my c6 which meets the requirment of US30K, is it enough for family of 4?

Ur c6 is already working in the States? My income is foreign income so it is not counted. I can use assets but I think having a joint sponsor is just easier. Has ur c6 gotten his IRS transcripts? That will probably take the most time.

Do you know how to get the police certificate? Do we get a copy or will it get mailed direct?

police certificate will be in next stage, NVC will send you letter then u can apply.

i think u need to apply it in person in wai chai, the orignal they will directly send to HK US embassy.

Yes. Foreign earned income does not count unless u can prove that it will continue after ur move to the States. U may need a joint sponsor.

Yes, I heard that they prefer IRS tax transcript instead of 1040 copies.

想請教一下, 我係F2A case, 而家填緊 ds-260, 填完後我要upload哂 d civil document比NVC, 有一點想問清楚, 要去拎良民證但我記得良民證會由警署直接寄去NVC? 唔會直接經我地手架嗎? 謝謝!

Yes, your are correct!
Then show the receipt issued by HK Police.
It’s actually a payment receipt.
I sent this. And they accepted it.

By The time I applied for Police Cert., I only got an email from NVC.
I then printed the email out and presented it to the counter in “Certificate of No Criminal Conviction Office”, which is located at 14/F, Police Headquarters, Wan Chai.
I told the officer I didn’t get the physical letter yet but just this electronic letter.
He accepted it.
