你好, 請問在外國出生和居住的孩子, 媽媽是香港出生 (香港永久居民). 孩子可以申請香港身份證 ma？然後申請回鄉証 ma?

這問題, 我沒有頭緒, 很困擾。感謝您的幫助！! :)

If your kid born before 1997, it is OK.
After 1997, depend on parent's status in foreign country. If you or spouse are not foreign country's PR or citizen, your kid can apply HKID.

That's all I know.

Thank you very much for trying to help!! You are right. For other moms' future reference, (I've now found out) my kids can't apply for the 3-star HKID because I was a PR when my kids were born.

I now want to know if they can apply for 回鄉証 even though they can't have 3-star HKID.
