想請問一下, 如果我 2月尾係 agent 度搵左個菲傭, 咁要幾耐至有 reference no 呢 ? 因為有 no 才可出快信比入境處, 急用人.

About 2 weeks after you have send in all the necessary documents to the immigration.

I am abit confused. My agent said once I signed up the maid, the paper work starts from Philippines Consulate before passing to HK Immigration to process. It takes a couple of weeks to process. Therefore, can anyone tell how long it normally takes to get reference number from HK Immigration after signing the offer letter to maid?

I signed up a maid on Feb 10, but still havent received the Reference number yet.
Worry...

My agent told me that around 1 month will have the ref. no., seems quite long time to wait that :(

Time required to get a maid to HK after signing up a contract with her.
2 weeks---Medical check up+contract verification
at the Philippine Consulate + sort out
all the documents before submitting to
the HK Immigration Department.
6 weeks---visa processing.
1 week----Send visa to Philippines.
Arrange the maid to come to HK.
