Yesterday, one agency told me. Their Philipino President annouce that:-
Should not charge their citizen any employment agency fee. Should all pay by employer' party.
Same as Canada, now Bun Bun no need to pay agency fee if want go to Canada, even air-ticket need to issued by Employer.
Even they been paid at HK, (they need work in HKG at least 9 mths). They can claims back at Canada. Coz Canadian Government also stand at Labour side.
That's why so many Bun Bun want to go to Canada. Why they need to come to HKG first, if they apply at Philipine, it might take 5-7 years, but in HKG, all the procedures take faster.
So that's why now so many Bun Bun teachers come to HKG to apply as Domestic Helper' Job.
They can be employ as Caregiver at Canada, But not every Bun Bun can stay such cold temperature.
For me, I also think they are very naive, I lived in Canada before, if you earn such lower salary, actually very hard for you to live there. First you need to buy a car, if not equal no feet.
But i think they might think marry Foreigner is an another exit,. But they really don't know most Gwelio are very poor there.......
