If the problem is too "serious" and need surgery, they will ask you to go to Prince Philip Dental Hospital (http://ppdh.org.hk/b5/index.html) for another check-up coz there they got professors and they are more experienced. There are only 30 quotas everyday and you need to get up really early to get a ticket in order to see the dentist there.
Another alternative: go to Queen Mary for general consultation, and ask the doctor to write her a reference letter.
