How do I clean the pan, basket and divider?
Answer
Let the appliance cool down for approx. 30 minutes before you clean it.
The pan, basket and divider of the appliance have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
The pan, basket and divider are dishwasher-proof. You can also clean the pan, basket and divider with hot water, some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge.
If food residues are stuck to the bottom of the pan, you can fill it with hot water and detergent and leave it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Soaking will loosen the food residues and will make it easier to remove. The quality of your detergent determines how easy it is to remove food residues and fat. Make sure you use a detergent that can dissolve oil.
If there are fat stains on the pan or the basket and you have not been able to remove them with a suitable detergent, use a liquid degreaser. Follow the instructions on the package.
