買甚麼被好呢?

天氣快將轉涼了, 今年要換被, 不知買羽絨被定羊毛被好呢? 亦曾聽有人介紹宜家的被都唔錯或你們有甚好介紹呢? 先謝過!

我昨晚啱啱系吉之島買著一套公主被比囡囡, 唔知你系買比仔仔定系你? 如果系仔仔我建議你唔好買羽絨, 我之前買過,結果用唔到2年張被給囡囡跳到臉目前非.

. 好肉痛 :-(

It is all depends on whether or not you will turn the heater on and/or using electrical mattress pad. Down quilt is kind of light in weight, wool is heavy.

As my son always kick his blanket (he doesn't like to the feeling of being covered by a blanket) what I did in the past and what I will do is switch on the electrical mattress pad and the heater (in low mode) and let him wear a vest with filling when he go to sleep.

The good things about the electrical mattress pad are:

it only consum 60W whereas a heater will consum 1500 to 2000W.
Bed is comfortably warm when he craw up there so he never refust to go to bed in cold winter time.
Turning the heater on is just like a back up to keep the room warm.

Regarding down quilt, you could check with major department store for the light weight one so that you or your son wouldn't feel too hot and thinner if you are going to turn the heater on.

Wool blanket, I do have a good one at home for more than 10 years but rarely us it because this is kind of heavy for us...we just don't like the feeling of being covered up by something heavy.

No matter which one you are going to buy get something good in quality so that you could (or happy with) use it for years instead of putting it aside after one or two years.

By the way, Sincere and WingOn are going to have their crazy sale soon. I brought two cotton vest with fillings for my son at $30 each which is rather good to wear at home and when he goes to sleep, let me know if you need help.

Hi 肥仔媽咪,

I brought mine in WingOn, a German Brand, check the below link for product info. Since I am sleeping with my son so I am using the one for 5" bed. The reason why I picked a German brand instead of others is because we have real close contact with the appliance therefore it is better to pick one that is realiable and have good reputation with safety device.

I could not locate mine from the site but you could at least have a better idea of that particular brand.
Mine with Timer,
5 heating setting
Approx 5 x 4.5"

All model are shorter than a mattress because you don't need to heat up your pillow right, kind of energy saving design.

If you son is currently sleeping on his own in a single size bed and you are not going to change it in the next couple of years - get him the size that fits his bed. If you are going to change his bed to another size soon get one that fits his new bed.

Yes, I do turn it on overnight in low setting plus the heater in low setting because temperature normally drops a little more after midnight. The good thing about the time is you don't have to worry about forgetting to switch off the pad.

I've never use a over blanket before so I have no tips for you.

If you are sure that your little girl would not kick her blanket, an over bad could be a good choice...otherwise imagine little kids keep on turning and rolling on the bed when they are sleeping and there is an electric wire linked to their blanket, that could cause some trouble.

To get the best result for the underbed (to trap heat between mattress and blanket or quilt) is to cover it up with something. It is really great to warm up your bed and quilt before you go to sleep, think about jumping into a warm bed at below 15 degree then you will understand what I am talking about.

I don't feel this sort of product will create extra dryness to my or my son's skin because winter is dry anyway and we will put more cream or body oil after bath and before bed, or even turn on the humidfier to moist the bed room.

IMPORTAMT: such products are not suggested for infant and small child because they cannot regulate their body temperature very well and cannot get rid of the heating product when they get hot.

香港都唔係好凍, 我覺得唔使用電氈, 好似報紙話電氈令精子溫度高不利懷孕, 想要bb的要注意喇.

近期吉之島床上用品on sale, 真係幾平, 但我都心大心細唔知買咩被好, 我都有睇過ikea的50% down quilt好似幾好, 大家有意見無買什麼好? ?-(

係啊, ikea要用番歐洲size 被套80"x80", 但佢地d被又幾靚又唔貴, 我有幾款都好鐘意 :exclaim:

I also used electrical blanket before. It is pretty warm especially when you first jump into the bed. I usually set the timer to let it on for a few hours instead of overnight.

By the way, electrial blanket is not recommeded for small kids as they may wet their beds.

我依家都用緊IKEA被 , 唔係有羽毛o個隻 , 已經2年喇仲好暖, 不過冬天要加多張冷氣被係面 , 唯一唔好就係被套size我每次都要搵人改lor
