If your dream to be a wonderful working woman, u may have more $$$ paid. maybe $25000-30000.
If your dream is having very good family, this is a good job. u do not need to have OT, u can back come on time, u can spare some time to play with your future baby.
My guess is you work for some foreign banks as receptionist or admin. Am I right ? :) Anyway, if so, I have always thought those jobs are great. I have a male friend who works as an E.O. in the government and his starting salary was only about $17,000. He is now about 34 years old, has a degree and when he started with the E.O. job, he already had over 5 years of working experience. Not sure about his future career path but he definitely does not have double pay, bonus or share options.

I am U grad, over 15 years experience, no salary increment for several years and the pay is well under yours.
But my office located near my parents' house and I can take my girl to school everyday. No pressure and no overtime but no propsect either
My boss is very easy going and my job is dull too.
Always thinking of change a new job but sometimes many reasons for not quitting the job.
I just think it is better than no income as at least I can pay for my girl's expenses.
I think I can get one with 15% more at least but you need to pay more in other areas, school bus of my girl, more time to the job and more pressure.
If I am single or without kid, I am sure I will change my job but now the first priority is my girl. For you know the prospect of her is much more important than mine as it is no use to earn few more thousands but affect the learning of her.
