有冇媽咪在浸會﹝或其他私家醫院﹞生，在醫院期間可以堅持到全人奶？醫院會在固定時間叫媽咪去餵奶﹝通常是3-4個小時一次，但應只適用於餵奶粉，餵人奶應要食密一點。﹞而且剛生完頭8小時不能下床，BB又放在育嬰室。那麼你們是怎樣安排的呢？醫院怎樣/可以配合嗎？

自己計住時間同姑娘講 ~ 叫佢抱bb比我餵! 因為啱啱生完未上奶,冇奶, 醫院照補奶粉比bb食足咁多餐!因為醫院會記錄bb既大小便次數, 佢地知道我冇奶, 所以補奶粉!

例如: 餵完人奶後, 姑娘會照比奶粉bb, 試下佢食唔食得飽!

My b was born in St. Teresa's 2 months ago. I told the nurse I want to BF & feed on demand, & ask the nurse only feed my b 'glucose water' when she cried (the reserve in baby's body should be enough for the 1st 2 days needs). They won't call u to come to feed yr b if she cried, but can arrange feeding schedule of 3 hours (while 4 hours of feeding formula). However, pls prepare to see the 'black face' or hard wordings of the nurse.

我響荃灣港安生,因為開刀,所以第一日阿仔必須由姑娘餵奶粉.但到第二日我落得床開始,阿仔就係全人奶,無再補過奶粉.

姑娘教我話如果想成功餵人奶,一定唔可以補奶粉,佢教我可以將個餵奶command轉做feed on demand,我24小時on call, baby一喊就會call我去餵奶,所以凌晨四點都會起身去餵仔.住院期間巳經上晒奶,成日漏濕晒件睡衣.

直至現在阿仔九個月大都係全人奶b! 只要堅持及有信心,一定會成功!

Hi, I gave birth to my son by c-section at HK Adventist 2 months ago. I prepared a birth plan with instructions to hospital that I prefer having 100% breastfeeding so they can't give formula to my bb unless they have my consent.

The c-section was scheduled at 9 sthg in the morning, actually hospital staff could bring bb to me shortly after the operation, but that didn't happen becoz my bb's body temperature was a bit unstable. So they brought bb to me for the very first feeding at around 3:30pm. Other than 15ml glucose water, bb had nothing before then.

Since then the hospital staff brought bb to me for breastfeeding whenever bb cried (feed on demand) no matter it's day or night. Therefore, other than glucose water given during hospital stay, my bb hasn't taken any other food than breast milk.

However, some of the hospital staff kept telling me that bb is not eating enough & kept suggesting to give bb formula, especially when I was waiting for the milk "coming up" in the first few days. I insisted not to give bb formula. So it's important to stay tough and get full support from your husband and your family.

睇黎要在醫院全人奶真係一d都唔易wor !!!! 又要預備姑娘黑面 or 比說話聽 !! 乜宜家醫院唔係suggest mami喂人奶ga 咩 ??!! 我仲有幾日入浸會, 我都怕會遇到呢個問題 !!!

Some hospitals will allow you to pump out your colustrum and/or breast milk and then bring to the nursery and the nurses there will feed that instead of formula. You can check with your hospital before you give birth and make the necessary arrangements.

但其實泵始終係唔及bb啜咁有效喎！咁樣的安排唔係太好喎！

To Harubi, 嘩!! 你零辰四點幾都起身呀...咁你咪冇得真正休息lor....我上一胎(Yr2004)都堅持餵人奶,但就三/四個鐘一次,如果阿B喊,姑娘就只可比水佢飲,但半夜我冇餵,因我驚如我沒有充足的休息又點會有好野比阿b食唸....

Anyway, 今胎(十二月)都唸緊點樣好....好唔好feed on demand for 24 hours...

浸會都可以 request feed on demand,bb 喊就 call 你,你捱到眼訓就得!

Yes I agree it's not the best option, but some hospitals don't allow the baby out of their nursery (like Union Hospital) and when the Mami had a c-section, may be this is the only option during the first 24 hours when you can't get out of bed.

第一日開完刀五花大綁同埋麻醉藥未過巳經訓夠休息夠啦.第二日姑娘幫我拆除裝備後即刻想走去搵阿仔,不過姑娘要我等醫生巡埋房先准行...

住醫院時除左餵奶同埋上網及招呼親友外,其實都無乜野做...果時幾想24小時陪住阿仔,所以無得訓都無乜所謂...我怕miss左個餵奶時間,仲較埋手機個alarm提自己起身...(4 am係一個規定的餵奶時間)

我2個都係仁安生 (2個都係 bf)
如果個"客"強烈 request 唔可以補奶粉, nurse係唔會補
不過媽媽就一定要自己隔2-3個鐘就自己去 feed bb一次, 唔可以4 hours一次
連半夜都唔可以唔去

個人經驗
初生bb在醫院食一餐半餐奶粉唔係好大問題
如果為左要在醫院全人奶, 媽媽本身又暈又唔夠休息, 就唔好la
depends on 自己身體狀況0拉
