賓賓昨天放完假回來同我講, 佢passport將到期, 要我影印身份證 + 寫封信證明佢在我家打工, 才可續證, 想問各位是否要這樣做??

No, need our letter to prove that we will continue to hire her until the contract date
we also have to pay $160 to HK gov for her
I just did it early this month.

你有冇佢passport & visa copy
係咪真係到期??

我剛同姐姐續約, 佢passport 9月到期所以要先renew passport, 才可續約

續PASSPORT唔洗僱主信, 佢自己去領事館攪
但係延長VISA 就要你HKID copy同填一份入境處O既FORM, 帶現contract 正本去入境處續visa

我去年9月同佢續約, 而因佢本passport 5月先到期, 所以無renew本passport, 現在佢要申請延長逗留至約滿, 請問個$160是由我俾定佢俾呀! 因之前我已俾咗.

唔駛架, Renew Passport 唔需身份證和證明信, 本Passport唔係俾佢係香港做野, 佢自己攪費用自付。

小心佢要你證明來借錢呀! Passport or Contract 將到期借唔多, 有證明還會在同一僱主工作, 又可再借。

ok, I write it clearly (my maid just renew passport and extend HK working visa)

1. She goes to Philippines Consulate to renew her passport. It is not our responsiblity. So, she pays the fee. We do not have to provide her our ID copy or letter

2. When she get the new passports,
a) we can go to immigration dept website http://www.gov.hk/tc/residents/immigration/nonpermanent/bookextensionstay.htm
to reserve the time slot. Alternatively, you can ask her to line up there
b) we provide her the following items
i) our letter to prove that we will hire her until the end of the contract date and request the immigration dept to extend her working visa
ii) fill ID988A form (download from immi dep website)
iii) give her a cheque of HK$160 to HKSAR gov. it is the working visa fee. (should be paid by us under the HK law and regulation)
