my daughter had that too - my doctor and a friend who is also a doctor all told me it was 小腸氣 and that 80% of cases heal by themselves. If however it did not heal by itself when bb reached 2 years old, then she would need surgery. Luckily by the time she was around 4 months, it went away and her belly button is normal now.
