Rogers 30" LCD TV

Hello, I'm thinking of buying the Rogers 30" LCD TV from Fortress (it's on special now) as a present for father's day. Is anyone using this brand? or have comments on it? It's quite cheap compare with other brands. Thanks in advance.

Fortress is doing $7999 (2 yrs original factory warranty including the LCD panel). and $588 for the additional 3rd year warranty by Fortress.

Is it a good buy?

Well, don't really have a budget, but I've been looking around and for 30" LCD TV, that's the cheapest I've seen so far... the sales at Fortress claims the panel is the same as samsung... What's your comments?

I have philips Pixel Plus bought last year $27xxx. 30" LCD. So far so good. So I prefer Philips. The turner is ok. You can go for another model of Philips which is around less then $20k should be good to buy too.

Korea panel is so called Grade B although LG and philips has joint together to produce panel in Korea.

My one is made from Belgium.

Just my little subjective opinion. If you have no budget, then you can have more choices.

岩岩睇緊本e-zone, LCD TV 推介中, Rogers 係top 1, model L32TV1000, 32吋, 內置TV TURNER, 亮度550cd/m, 對比度 600:1 解像度 1280x768, 個monitor用hitachi. $9999. 我近排要買lcd tv, 所以比較留意. 本應諗住買32吋hitachi $18800, 但除左解像度高過rogers 少少之外, 其他嘅都一樣, 差成$8800, 真係要去shop度睇睇部rogers 同 hitachi 有幾大分別.

roger真係好抵買...價錢差咁遠....唔0係睇得咁專業既話...呢個牌子都ok啦...英國牌子...台灣做....價錢一流其他無得揮....不過聽講保用期過後...就算加錢做保用都唔包零件既...記住問清楚重要睇清楚d保用條款...唔好淨聽d sales講..

我都想買部LCD, 不過唔知買邊個牌子好, 聽完各位意見後,又心大心細, 原先想買日立, 現在又想買ROGER,係咪ROGER真係好過日立呢, 另外, 價錢幾多 (32"), 有冇 (37") ??
