My girl doesn't like wearing slippers. When she was 1 year old, I gave her soft shoes or socks at home. Now she refuses. Winter is coming ... Any good suggestion as to how to train her wearing slippers?
Socks usually slipery even with rubber pathches underneth. I would buy a pair of cute cartoon slipper for my 2yrs old boy. Of course, if he got the chance to choose the pair, it would be better. When he tried it on, I praised him and said that it's so cool and beautifull. My boy understood what beautifull meant, he smiled than pointed his slipper to the saleslady and said: Len Len(beautifull). At home, I always remind him to wear it. Of course, continue to praise him even he just wear it for a couple of minutes. Explain to him that it's getting cold, so wearing his slipper will keep him warm and avoid getting hurt, as sometime, the floor has all kind of same rubbish. Slowly, he'll have the concept of wearing it.
You're wellcome! Also, you can teach her to the different between left & right foot when she puts it . Say like right foot goes to right side slipper, and left foot goes to lest side slipper. My boy always repeats these words when he puts his slipper on.
I didn't push him to wear slippery, he just wears it naturally. ah mm, I should be after 2 yr old. He suddenly puts on the slippery and said I am wearing the slippery just like daddy and mommy.
