My BB is now 4 months old and I am looking for some educational materials for her. Disney World of English is too expensive and English Time is a little bit cheaper (still costs HKD2x,xxx).
Can anyone using English Time for your BB share your experience? If not using these materials, how do you develop your BB?
I have just brought ET this month. But I did not buy the Baby pack, cos my daughter is already 19 months. When she was young (about 6 months +). I showed her the Child Smart VCD (from Sesame Street) and she loved it. That was a musical VCD (that means, no conversation, only simple message). When she gets older, I show her Barney and demo disc from ET. She is very responsive to music and loves to watch ET very much.
I talked to sales people from ET and Disney, and finally decided to by ET.
To me, I believe if you can spend time with your kids, most tools are good. Even Child Smart or Barney VCD (only HKD 50 each) works very well. Although I have brought ET now, I still believe, buying the tools per se would not help your child to develop. We must spend time with them.
