gorgorbb - are you going back for visit or to stay? knowing where to settle down yet?

I used to live in Melbourne many years ago. Will need to see what have changed when I go back to visit this Apr.

Hope to get everything done before I move there with my family.

Big challenge especially moving with kids

Look like most of you haven't moved to Melbourne yet. Have you all been there before? Are you familiar there?

I used to live there a while ago so kind of familiar with some of the suburb based on my old memory. I guess now Melbourne much have changed a lots. Especially now I am with kids, may need to get more updated information for diffrent perspective.

In old day. I like to go St Kilda beach and I like the Sunday Market there. There is another Sunday Market in South Bank (city). Victoria market in the city too very good for local products shopping.

Night life in Chapel St - South Yarra and Lygot Street (near Melbourne Uni city campus)

Further out to the South-eastern. Westfield in Doncaster (less crowded), Chastone (very famous and busy shopping mall) and Westfield in Morrabin.

Further out will be day trip to Daylesford, Wilson Prom, winery drive, great ocean road, philip island .......

Hope these basic information could help a bit ^_^

Say Hi to you all here!! I studied in Melb years ago, and start planning to go back with my hubby and girl in few years time. Really want to know how Melb looked like now. Hope to get more updated info from here.
