My baby dislikes drink milk since 3-mth old. I change milk bottle from chuchu to dr brown. Feeding her when she is sleeping. I try mix with rice water or 開奶茶 when prepare milk for her. I use 安撫奶咀 to make her easily to sleep thereAfter I feeding for her. But I found that she cough & vomit 豆腐渣. Now she will screaming or crying when see milk bottle. Do u have any suggestion?
I try to feed her rice cereal or mashed apple, but she only eat 6-10 spoon only
Well, my son used to drink milk v fast within 10 mins b4 3 mths... After 3 mths, he was not so eager for milk. He yelled and screamed when we forced him to drink... We had to comfort him till sleep, then fed him! Sometimes he was better and could finished 6 oz one time! My opinion was: be patient! Sometimes we tried 40mins and 1 hr as longest! When he felt sleepy, we fed him and it worked for many times! Sometimes just played with him for while and tried again, ie. 1st 2nd 3rd attempt... sigh! Of coz going crazy but just calm down and find out a solution.
Same as yr situation, we started to give him cereal at his 5 mths! It seemed that he was just so so abt it and we tried everyday! After 2 weeks, he could finish a 3/4 bowl cereal! Be patient !
Dr brown level 2 nipples maybe bot suitable for her coz flow too quick la if she is sleeping. I also want to finish milk within 20 minute. However she is yelling at the beginning about half an hour. Today she only drink 7 oz milk for the while day.....
How do u make your son easily to sleep when feeding? He is no vomit if feeding during sleeping? At least spending one and half hr per feeding but shd still nit willing yo drink. Sigh!!!
Just try to match the time for drinking milk & taking nap. Normally he takes nap every 2-3 hrs! If he does not drink, we just try to hold him (搖下搖下咁 - of course not recommended by health clinic) When he feels sleepy, we feed him at once! Sometimes he wakes up right after finishing his milk!
Yes, he will cough but seldom vomit. If he vomits, maybe just little bit! For yr case, few times per mth is not a problem war!
Maybe bb just feels tired of milk... He drinks better this week and much easier for us. He finishs the millk within 10 mins! Around 24-25ozs per day!
Yes, I can't 掃風! I just hold him for few minutes and let him down. Sometime he farts and the air come out, sometimes he crys, i know maybe the air not yet come out, therefore, i will hold him again and 掃風! Actually every bb is different, my bb is not easily to vomit and that's why it isn't a problem to feed him when he is sleeping!
I think he likes cereal and eats just fast! First few days, just few spoons for trying! After 1 week, we add more cereal and it is quite sticky! He can finish half adult bowl and sometime more! From my experience, just try with patience! We used to put the banana into cereal, he hated and yelling when we forced him. After 3rd attempt cereal + banana, we give up! These two days we tried to feed him congee, again refused at first! We just try again!
Do u feed extra milk for him after he finishs one bowl (120ml) of cereal? Or direct instead 1 meal of milk feeding? Normally 120ml milk mix with cereal, but we find not sticky so she don't like. I try serve spoon milk powder with 60ml water only into cereal. It will not good for her stomach? How many portion of milk u mix with cereal? U serve 4 milk and 1 cereal per day for yr ?baby?
yes, 4 milk and 1 cereal or congee per day. First i prepare 6oz milk, then use milk to mix with cereal... normally 6-7 spoon cereal mix around 3/4 bowl cereal. I will let him drink the remaining milk if he can! My bb is 19 lbs at his 6 mths! How abt yr BB?
Be relaxed and dun worried too much! My bb resumes to normal recently and found it more easy to feed him milk. If yr bb really doesn't want to drink, dun force him/her if u already tried many methods!
I suggested u to let bb try cereal. I did try to use milk at the beginning, he didn't like and ate not much. Then i tried use water to mix the cereal, he ate better. After few days, I used milk to mix with cereal, he ate! Just try and try!
After eating cereal for 1 mth, it is quite stable to finish 1/2 or 3/4 bowl of cereal and drinking milk becomes more easy to me. Though still has the difficult moment, i just played with bb for a while or asked him to fell asleep to finish the milk!
BTW, i think some bb likes more sticky cereal, some may not! If she likes sticky one, u can add more cereal! But check her poo poo ok or not! My bb likes sticky cereal too!
My baby girl weight at 14 lbs now (5 mth). So how many capacity of milk u mix with cereal? My baby like sticky one which not follow instruction from cereal supplies. Her poo poo becomes more sticky as well. Yesterday I try to change from a+ to s26, she finish within 7 minute for 170ml milk, I am so happy and just think that milk maybe not suitable for her. Today she is yelling again....sigh!!!

sure! My bb drinks A+, B4 he drinks snow brand. To compare two brand, i think he likes A+ more. Normally we mix 2-2.5 oz formula milk into 6-7 spoon cereal!
Woo! More sticky! I don't know what capacity is enough for her. But she finish 3 oz milk with 6 spoon cereal. Do u serve water to yr baby while finish cereal? She is not willing drink remaining 1 oz milk, but drink 1 oz water afterward

I think 3/4 bowl cereal should be fine and u can see if she asks next meal earlier!
