My boy just turned 3, and I'm thinking to switch him to fresh milk now. Actually the doctors in here recommends fresh cow's milk instead of formula after 1-year-old.
However, my boy didn't like the taste of fresh milk. So, I just let him have the toddler's formula from 1-yr-old til now, but actually it said that it's for 1 to 2-year-olds (but I think it should be ok).
My boy's been having Enfamil formula since he's not breastfed anymore. So, I went to Enfamil's website in HK and realized there's formula for older kids from 3 to 7 years old. It's called "Enfakid A+".
So, I just wonder if most of the 3-yr-olds in HK/Macau still have formula (milk powder) or fresh milk??
P.S. I grew up in Macau and I looked at your messages once in a while.
For convenience sake, most mommies give fresh milk to older kids.
However, I just spoke with another mom whose 10 year old still takes Wyeth #4 with a straw. So it is possible to give them formula until they're much older... if you don't mind the $$$ price tag.
My boy is 3 yrs and 5 mths old now, and he still having milk powder formula "Wyeth No.4".
I been asking so many Mama that "Fresh Milk and Milk Powder Formula which one is better for kids" most of the Mama said Formula is better because it's made for kids and it's easiler to absorb by kids and it added DHA, AHA....etc...
so I think if your son didn't like the taste of fresh milk, just let him takes milk formula...
