Will it be your baby don't want to eat "Congee"???
You know, in Canada (where me and my baby lived), all the doctors suggest let the babies play with the food. But for sure you need to get something to cover on the floor first. The doctors said if you let them play, it's more easy for them to learn the texture of the food.
Like my daughter, when she started to eat baby cereals, she always like to dip her finger in and rub her two fingers to feel the cereals. And when she grown up later, she would not dip fingers into the food.
Don't worry about, your little one will know it later.
