My baby is a bit more than 9 months and introduced 2 meals of congee the week before, my supply did drop a bit naturally, my body regulates it itself without external aid. So you don't really need to do anything (unless your supply is very very large) to adjust the supply. On weekdays, I feed my little one around 6.30am, than I pump after lunch (~9.5oz, was 12 oz when he's on one meal of congee), and feed him around 9.30 p.m.
well, pumping 9.5oz is a bit more than enough, but I am happy with stocking some milk just in case

My BB is eight months old and will start to have 2 meal of solid food soon, how to gradually reduce milk supply? I'm afraid it'll drop too much!
