失業的煩惱

我在IT行業巳10幾年， 6月完Contract後，都唔知能否
find another job? I really don't know what I can do. Can anybody give me some advise ? 做 IT 就 似負資

我老公做it又係失業，不過我老公係做system manager，而家都找緊工，大家努力啦

monchhichi888, 你有冇諗過自己開發一些實用系統比香港政府考慮? 近日在區議會內開會時, 討論有關開發醫療網, 政府撥款1億多元, 並給予有關部門2~3年開發, 不過內裡太多問題未解決, 我自己都有兩項計劃於此未提上, 然而你有概念又可行的話, 不妨試下比個計劃政府考慮啦~

I think it is workable.

As I know, many people try their opporturnity to create own business & may have IT problem.

If low cost & convenience, they may consider to use your IT service. Of course, it is hard job & occupy much time.

Some big IT support company charge is still very high cost.

等錢洗就低低做全先羅

Currently I am working in an IT company in Macau, it is a system integration (SI) company and I have worked for this field more than 11 yrs.
Becos of my job nature, I always reach the IT vendors in HK, as far as I know, so of the leading IT companies such as JXS Computer, Txxpxn Forms computer and Mxxroware is also looking for some of the post currently. I don't know what specifications and professionalism your husband has, but please ask him to reach those kind of companies. And even you can ask him to reach some of the smaller sized IT vendors, they are also looking for some of the technical and presales post.

Hi monchichi888 and 898998,

The 1st thing that concern you is your family. Are they happy? Do they support you? Are you and all in your families having a healthy family life? If there are emotional problems, they will drag u down.

2nd. Have u ever considered taking jobs that don't measure up to your ability? I think there should be jobs out there for which you are overqualified. Why not take it?

I have a friend in the IT business (8-9 yrs exp)who started 3 mths ago with 8K. (Gee, 8K for an experienced ex-manager?) Now, guess what. 20K and get posted to Macau to oversee the whole branch there.

It is not so hard to find a job if you don't mind to work in Macau especially if you are experienced IT people. Becos of the recent projects and infrastructure growth in Macau, it may req. some technical ppl in which their head office is in HK. They have some facility provided for you such as hosuing and travelling allowance.
Although the package may not be attractive as in HK, comparitively the stress in Macau are not so keen as in HK, it is quite a good place and I am get used to be now.
