I've a very long story to tell. I used to live with my parents-in laws and had a very very hard time. My mum-in-law has a habbit of getting rid of my domestic help. She generally discontented with everything our thai maid did. I used to have to work in a bank for long hour. Afterwork i'll have to run to market for the stuff for dinner. If it was too late (say after 7.00pm) I'd have to go to supermarket to do the shopping. My in-laws were retired and will go out everyday for their own enjoyment, but NEVER help buying the ingredients for dinner. If I don't help the maid to seasons the food and made the dishes, she complained alots (say this is too salty and that has no taste etc etc). I once bought some fresh expensive fish to do the deepfry but I didn't know how to make it nicely, she suspected that I had bought some cheap stuff for the family. In fact who doesn't want to spend some quality time with our old child after a hard days' work? All she did was not trying to help but continuouly ruin the harmony of the family. Now that my husband had had enough of them and we moved out. I realised that life can be so good!! I'm very happy living with my son, husband. The thai maid is doing ok as well. My husband has an elder sister, she married to a man that my in-law didn't like. She lives in overseas now and has NO contact with the family at all - not even a phone call in the new year, not to mention coming back to visit. Now they live alone but they complained about no-one takes care of them. I though- who take care of me then? Wasn't it true that they had a very very easy life then when we lived with them? Did they treasure the time? I put no pressure on my husband because he has had much hard time already. Now a bright new start for me.
Enough for me and thanks for the patience of reading. I am ashame of not knowing how to type chinese. Perhaps it's time to learn.
