though i can't answer your question, I want to share with you my own experience.
when i was about to deliver my baby last year, my grandpa was very weak in the hospital, suffering from liver cancer(but he doesn't really feel any pain at all! Thanks God). All my aunts and uncles came back to say goodbye. My aunt was a christian, and she told my grandpa about Jesus. She read the bible and said Jesus was good and told him to pray.
The next day, she visited him and asked him whether he prayed or not? and grandpa said no. Then she pray with him together and told him more about Jesus.
The next day, she visited him and asked him whether he prayed or not? and grandpa said 'I saw Jesus last nite.' they were all stunned. And my aunt asked him to accept Jesus. he said he had to ask my grandma. My grandma agreed, so my aunt called her pastor immediately to come for baptism.
The miracle was that, though my grandpa was very weak, in the declaration for baptism, he pronounced every word very clearly and loudly.
And a few days later, he passed away.
I am glad that he accepted Jesus lastly that i could see him again in heaven, if i baptize.
hollyfong,
Glad that you shared your grandpa's witness with us. Jolly to learn that your grandpa is in heaven now and forever. I'm sure if you have comitted to Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, no matter you are baptised or not, you will be meeting him in the heaven.
Maybe Allie is not looking at this topic. Thanks all for your concern. Allie's dad already passed away. :-( (I hope she won't mind me disclose this info.)
