Hi Eat,
I can totally sympathize with you. I have the same problem as you! my baby boy is 7 month old and he also dislikes drinking milk. The most he can finish is 6 oz and it happens very seldomly. Nowadays, he usually only take 3-4 oz each time. I usually feed him 5 times a day, 4 hours apart but he doesn't seem to be hungry a lot of times. Sometimes if I don't give him milk for 5-6 hours, he wouldn't cry and just does not seem hungry!! He will cry when I force him to finish his milk.
It's making me very upset and mad as well!
and for rice cereal, he can only finish 1/2 a bowl usually. he does not have the patience to sit in his chair for a long period of time to finish his meal.
but one thing I found is that he loves bread! with bread, he really demands it and can't wait for the next bite. but I'm afraid that if I stuff him up with bread, he will be full and will not have the appetite to take any milk later.
I haven't started giving him congee yet. Do you think I should?
He also does not have a very regular eating schedule. I usually give him milk at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm. but for rice cereal and fruit puree and stuff like that, I just give him when he feels like it. no set schedule. I think that's not very good. but I don't know what to do!
btw, I'm still giving him S26 and I'm wondering if I should change to #2 soon. he is 7month this Friday.
