My bb doesn't like rice cereal

Do u have this experience?

My bb is about to be 6 months and I started giving her rice cereal (solid food) for almost 2 weeks. She hates it so much and each time only has 2 teaspoons and then refused it and throws her temper after that. I have tried another brand/ another taste but still she does not like.

Shall I continue or let her have solid food later?

Pls help.

My son does not like to eat both coreal and congee. I am very worry about whether he has enough vitamin to growth. What should I do?

我個仔都是這樣。他對粥和糊仔毫無興趣。但他喜歡吃gerber的babyfood﹐尤其是peas﹐我喂他的時候﹐就給他一勺peas﹐當他張大嘴時﹐我就喂他一勺糊仔﹐這樣﹐他都還是可以食半碗糊仔。

just today i tried congee for my bb but she still doesn't like. i have the same worry as you, Conniekowk. can anyone help?

I feel a bit helpless cos i called the government health clinic (i called 3 clinics altogether cos they never answer the phone, one of them said they were busy) to enquire but they refused to advice and ask me to make appointment and let them check before giving me advise.

I have given cereal to my son tonight but he still refused to eat. Then he cried very loud.I I feel very tired at that time.I really don't know what to do.

I'm still trying and today i put a big piece of pork into the congee to boil to make it taste better. But bb still doesn't want. I'll try fish or Heinz baby food tomorrow. I'll update you my result.

I can never imagine giving solid food is so difficult. I remember it was a very easy job for my elder son when I started giving him solid food. He ate everything i gave and finished it very fast. Hope my bb can do it before i give up.

Hi All,

This is my experience, my baby is now 14 months old. When he was 6 months old, I fed him rice cereal he refused to eat, so I asked my friend what should I do, she suggested that I can put some baby food into the rice cereal like sweet potato, banana and apple. Then my baby started to eat the rice cereal and he likes sweet potato very much.
