u can call government retraining for introduction of some part-time local maid, they are some aunties, quite fast and clean. tel number:23174567, then you choose which area you are living, the tel will automatically get you through that area, then you can ask as you want. as this is introduced by the government, so i think it is quite safe. they don't charge you any penny for agency. :lol:

for me, I won't hire 家務通 coz I have poor experience of thme (so thus my colleagues)

coz last time I call this to find maid for in depth cleaning of a new home...

then a woman call me... and

she said : $65 per hour...
i said :'okay'
she said: nearly 10 hours
I said : everything in my home is new, no furniture and not big (only the windows are old)... still need 10 hours
she said: yes... maybe more tim
I said: arrr... okay la
she said: I want u to prepare the following things for me: 1. JIF (white colour), 2. palstic golves (XXX brand), 3. vaccum cleaner, 4. window cleaner, 5. clothes for differnt use 6, floor wiping equipment (not the cotton one)(scotch or videa)... nearly 10 items...
I said: why so interesting that you need to specify the products??? ?-(
she said: if you don't have time to buy, I buy it for you and you pay me afterwards
I siad: okay laa... and when will u avaialble?
she said: xxx date , then she said how abt paying bakc the travel fee to us... totally 30 dollars...
I siad: har?! reimbursement of travelling fee... you live so near to my home (my home of coz not in the peak or mid level ... I live in Shatin jia?!)

and so... after I talk to my colleagues, they all advice me not to employ her...

then I switch to another maid agent... did the work in only 6 hours (2 woman) , $50/ hour and no travelling fees reimbursement and no specification on the brandname of cleaning agent!

for 鐘點, also has experience (not good also...)

my present one is an example,

a 50+ lady, working experience is enough of coz... BUT

1. blame us paying low rate ($50/hour) (actually not low)
2. other families have double pay by end of year and we don't have... (har, they pay one off maaa?)
3. use to cut the cleaning cloth in fine pieces... and waste the plastic gloves even not punctured... by saying... you see, the gloves are stick together and can't use (very new ,,, only use nearly 10 times)...
4. originally agreed am to do the work and now sometimes so ealry as 8 am but sometimes 2 pm and sometimes just calling you not that day and need to swithc to another day...
5. if you tell her you want to cancel the next appointment and she said... you need to pay me of that day even you don;t require me to do the work... coz I've scheduled the time (actually one week notice)


so I'm now looking for a new one again.
