I also buy from other sellers. My experience is alright. But yes, must first discuss with the seller on line making sure the transportation cost, delivery date, whether they have the color and stock, etc. You must communicate with the seller before you click. They will then alter the price to reflect the transportation cost.
If everything is discussed, then normally it should be OK. I also try to find those stores having high rating and with good comments from the other buyers.
