My daughter is 8 mths old and she understand "No" already. Every time when she touch the cable or something dangerous, I say "No, don't touch, it's dangerous". She will understand and stand back.
Of course, sometimes, even she understand she will continue. e.g. when she crawl to kitchen, I told her stop, but she just crawl faster.
my baby is 5 month old, he has good eye contact with me since he is 4 month old when i talked to him,
of course, he should understand simple command like "no" in 10 month old,
so try to raise your tone to attract him la, use bb language but not adult language :tongue:
