I strongly recommend this character for younger children. My two girls start to watch Dora for over two years. they enjoy the DVDs and books. In fact, you can find more books in PageOne. I found those books about visiting Dentist, good manner, having a new baby brother, go to the school are excellent for children to read. and they learn many things also. After reading Dora visiting dentist to my girl who was then 4 years old, she allowed the dentist to fix her teeth, three at a time for her very first visit. She could even identify the tools that the dentist was using. Even the dentist was surprise.
Also, they can count numbers in spanish, name colors in Spanish, read Spanish words along with Dora. And there are many on line games about Dora and they are free. Your kids should love to play with Dora and Diego(her cousin, who loves wild animals)
