I tried before, ok, felt sleepy after eating it, no side effects. I only used it for emergency (e.g. work early, important things to do next day). Otherwise, I won't use it although no side effects.
I also have sleeping problem, too many things to think about (9962, c6 etc.).
For me, this kind of pressure made me can't sleep well. I try to relax now, usually can sleep ok.
May try chinese medicine to help. But in the long-term, you must tune back your life clock, no good to rely on medicine even though they are harmless.
