各位Bay Area 媽咪有冇興趣１０月出嚟picnic，當係Halloween gathering?唔一定要同小朋友扮鬼扮馬，但如果同小朋友着costumes,咁可以一班人影吓相都應該幾開心。

我上個星期去過一個公園都幾好，有playground, picnic tables, water feature, restroom，不過要reservation同要俾錢，大約$25-$30 per group(non residents of Redwood City)，視乎book邊個位，個park喺Redwood City, 叫Stulsaft Park，泊車好方便，地方乾淨，但都好多人book, 而家我check 到１０月12, 19&２６日（星期日）有位，可以有２張抬for 20人。大家可以上去呢個網睇下環境www.redwoodcity.org/parks , Area 1 最就腳最近playground & water feature, 但一路full到１０月尾，Area 2就有12,19&２６日個期。

In Redwood City, there are 2 other parks good for consideration www.redwoodcity.org/parks
1) Red Morton Community Park (1120 Roosevelt Ave) - available on 10/12, 18 & 25. I would suggest to consider Area 5 (2 tables for 20 people capacity), reservation fee $30.
2) Stafford Park (King Street & Hopkins Ave) - available on 10/12, 18, 19, 25 & 26. Area 4 with 2 tables for 15 people capacity can be considered. Reservation fee $25.

另有其他parks可以考慮，如果人數唔多都唔駛要reservation
1) Frontierland Park in Pacifica (at Yosemite Drive & Humbolt Court）www.cityofpacifica.org
2) Boothbay Park in Foster City (Boothbay Avenue & Edgewater Blvd) www.fostercity.org
3) Ketch Park in Foster City (End of Topsail Court off of Schooner Street)
4) Ryder Park in San Mateo (1801 J. Hart Clint Drive)
5) Beresford Rec Center in San Mateo (2720 Alameda Street) www.cityofsanmateo.org
6) Los Prados in San Mateo (1837 Bahia Street)
7) Lakeshore Park in San Mateo (1500 Marina Court)
8) MLK Jr. Rec & Park in San Mateo (725 Monte Diablo Avenue)

我只係去過第一個Frontierland Park, 好大好乾淨，playground 有唔同嘅structures，又有大草地，包Ｄ小朋友玩到唔肯走，但Pacifica唔知你地會唔會嫌遠，如果唔BBQ都唔駛reservation，早Ｄ去霸枱就得。其他Ｄ公園我未去過，只係上網搵，唔知係點，有冇媽咪有好提議？

ＳＦ有個ＢＫ媽咪星期六要返工，如果星期日佢可以join，SY_Mom 同mrschao嘅小朋友星期六要上堂，咁會唔會星期日大家會可以早Ｄ出嚟，俾多Ｄ時間小朋友玩耐Ｄ？

It's really a good park. Only this one provides sheltered tables while the others are not in Redwood City. I'm thinking to have another gathering in there next year (it's available for reservation from March to October only in each year). Hope that more moms can join and have fun next time.

Mrschao, you are welcomed, it's okay, not too much work on cleaning up. We have fun too and thank for Shana being a big sister to take care of Spencer. He really wanted to play with "the big sister" more. When Shana was leaving, he's really disappointed. We left at 3pm as my friends arrived late and we chatted and stayed a bit longer.

Both Spencer and Amanda were tired. Amanda slept in the car for the whole journey back to home and both of them went to bed early, slept thru the night until 6am this morning. My hubby was tired and went to bed at 9pm yesterday night. Too bad that I need to work today (possibly only half day) even it's Columbus Day.

Not problem. I think that I may have just picked a day that everybody is so busy. I also got Isaac.cheng's email and she also has some relatives coming to visit her family so she has to pass this time.

Mrschao, my sister-in-law will join too. She held her son's birthday party in that park last month.

So now, it is the final counts: -

Rose-mag 2A+2C (baked pork, hot dog or chicken wings, apples or honeydew or water melon and maybe a cake, depends on my hubby's mood)
Mrschao 2A+2C (chow mein，mixed veggies)
Cooky (my friend) 2A+1C (desert)
Helen (Cooky's friend) 2A+1C (drinks)
Janet (my sister-in-law) 2A+1C (she will bring something which is not duplicated with the above)

Total : 10A+7C

that's why i always admire the working moms!

i always hesitate going back to work, becoz i'm not sure if i can handle all the things at the same time and keeping them all in good standards.

is Justin still taking swimming class?

i've been thinking about dropping the swimming class for my son, but he's so crazy about it. every Thurs i'm so exhausted - taking him to swimming class after school is over. when we got home, still need to finish his homework and preparing for spelling test every Fri.
can't change the swimming class to another day either as no spaces available.

i'd just signed up my son for the children's choir (just for couple months; for x'mas performance) on Sat. too many activities this coming weekend.

most likely we won't be coming. so, please don't count us for the food preparation.

so exhausted these days. my son just wanna join any activities. meanwhile, he got homeworks every day and tests every week.

Both Justin and Shana like all kinds of noodles and pasta. Okay I'll make some, or buy some if I don't have time. I will bring plastic table cover and napkins.

My sister already has plans for Sunday, so she and her Myles can't come. (It would be cute to have two Myles', maybe next time.) My mom said maybe. My guess is she probably won't as she is chasing 嵗月風雲。

Fried rice or chow mein is good. My 2 little ones are crazy for all kind of noodles or pasta. How about yours? I think kids may like noodles better.

BTW, I would bring the plastic forks, spoons and plates.

Do we need some starch? I can make fried rice or chow mein instead of 金沙骨, especially if you will bring baked pork.

Maybe... I have sent email to Joyspring2002 and another BK mom in SF but both of them have not replied yet. PM had been also sent to ling00 and Isaac.cheng (I'll follow up with email or phone call later). But, since the reservation will not be refunded if it is canceled within 1 week, I would still go anyway. Also, I have invited 2 friends to come with their families, both of them have a son close to 2 yrs old. If your sister's family is available, you are welcomed to invite them too.

Here're the confirmed counts and food for this Sunday: -

Rose-mag 2A+2C (baked pork, hot dog or chicken wings, grapes and maybe a cake, depends on my hubby's mood)
