Chernobyl will seriously be considered one of the greatest shows of all time. As a layman I now learned the hard cold truth of details leading to the explosion. The most important of all, the world now comes to know those ultimate superheroes, those named and not named, who sacrificed their lives to mitigate the consequences of the catastrophe.
The visuals are stunning so the fears come to life on screen. You just feel like you were there! And while the series maintains its docu-drama feel, it never forgets the human side of the story, the inner villain and the angel side. I especially Iike the character arc of Boris Shcherbina portrayed in the show, from merely a party guy to one good man.
This is a real masterpiece. An epic. A must watch.
I have read many of the review from russians and people living near chernobyl and tbe surounding countries. They praise the drama for it is highly authentic. Almost like a documentary.

Me too.
It is not as entertaining as i expect. But definitely a meaningul drama. I will give 8.5 out of ten. But it is a must see. All people on earth better know more about nuclear plant explosion.
