我個仔間學校係2007后唔可以申請放假去holiday係番学時間. 因為之前可以的. 我也幫我大仔申請過..那是佢讀nursery...10 days..不過e+無e隻歌仔唱了

有就好了, 唔駛買貴機票

There might be some difference on the day of half term in different counties ga...schools in my county have Oct half term one week earlier than the rest of England.
Even if the school hasn't informed you of the term dates, your local council website should have the info. Have a look!

FYI, just check my kids' school, our school Oct half term is 26/10 - 30/10 (Mon-Fri). So u can fly on a plane on 23/10 night (Friday after school) and come back on 2/11 (Mon) to attend school...... Or (pretend off sick for a few more days lor!)

Usually it is the last week in October. Have the school invited you for a visit yet? They usually will give a visit to new reception children so to give some information to the parents about the school. During the visit you can ask the teacher or the school office when is the half term in Autumn term lor. Or what u can do is - very simple, just e-mail or phone the school office to ask when is the half term in Autumn term - saying u r planning for a holiday......

They took school off in their old school, when they were 5 to 6 yrs old, they took some days off from sick, and some hours off for dentist/doctor appointments, and they took 2 wks school only at 9/2006......in this school, I also got a letter, it notice to the parents, don't take school off to holiday...

i haven't received any info from the school yet. may be it will give more idea.

trouble is we want to go in the middle of the term, i think it will be really difficult to take time off.

there is a wedding in HKG they want to attend. may be will just send mother in law back la ..

What about x'mas??? u can't get days off during x'mas?
Usually school will have 2 weeks x'mas holiday.

Or if one week is enough, u can go during half term. I think there is a half term in late October.

Your school maybe different, maybe have 10 days lei? So if you take all 10 days, what if your kids are sick? does these 10 days include those off sick, too?!
