I agree what FK said. Good one being kept & all avaialble in the market are ?????. Better to employ overseas or introduced by good friends. It can't tell when you interview them. It may not be realistic though.
Also there is no probation, employers really don't know if the maid is suitable for thier family. Usually they will only find that out when the maid has worked for them for a few days. If the employers can tolerate, then wait for 2 years until end of contract. If the employers can't tolerate, another terminated maid in the market.
Ageed. I terminated a Fillippino domestic helper in May. She finished her first contract (her employer released her one month earlier), then another job only worked 2 months and terminated by her employer. The agency staff gave very good comments about the maid and told me that the employer fried her was mad. However, after she worked at my home for no more than 1.5 months, I decided to terminate her for she gave very bad experience for me and my children. That agency - Hundred Years Employment in Mongkok only made use of their clients (domestic helpers) to earn agency fee. Therefore, I suggest hiring an overseas maid. Those good helpers will normally kept by their employers.
