Some local buns are quite good. Some of my friends and neighbour have good buns, working 10+ years. I just have a new one who worked in HK 15 years for 2 employers. She is quiet, efficient and working properly with minimal supervision so far.

I thinks it depends very much on their personality and your luck.

本地O係度做O左起碼 2 年（完約計～），係就係點都應該有人幫你 train 過下，唔會好似我請 overseas 咁菜都唔曉炒條，但同樣時間佢有 2 年o係 hk，佢一定會有朋友，鄉里，佢群埋o的咩人無辦法知亦無辦法管。好彩就算唔係懷人，唔多唔少都會教下佢點樣爭取自己o既 ’權益’，佢做o左 2 年熟頭熟路，又有得 compare 下 hk o的 mums 係 ’應該’ 點對佢，自自自然然就會多o的要求

That's why I will never consider indonesian again. Whenever I talk to them seriously, they don't look at me and never stand straight.

If I were you, I will try to find another one. But it's difficult for your situation and really takes time.

因我E家既AGENT話OVER SEA個的都係話自己咩都得,但黎到又另一件事!SO佢E家幫我找本地,因知道佢地之前做野情況好唔好!
我諗都有排搵,因我地無房比佢瞓!
我E家個印係OVER SEA,都係未黎話自己咩都識,黎到好DIRTY,做咩都好dirty,已黎左2個月喇,仲要我比幾多時間佢先夠呀,日日做一樣既工作,都可以日日錯!
佢講大話,話佢知做錯事就黑面,(銀身銀世),唔彩你,無叫佢做就做左,有叫佢做就唔做/做錯,又自己剪頭髮,搞到自己成隻猩猩咁(因佢好肥架)

我有個大囡16個月大,細囡下星期出世,咁你話我換唔換人好呢?

My existing and current helpers are both local helpers. They are not perfect but compare to most of the helpers here, they are not bad. I think it depends on luck. Even you hire an overseas one, she can be very bad if she just wants to hang around.
