yes, it is freezing cold. Once of my house window got a big crack, from top to bottom. Not sure why. any mom/dad could tell?
my colleague told me it might due to my new house, to humid and the contraction crack the window.
Had informed the builder but due to holiday season won't be able to fixed till after new year. :cry:
besides, we have all the ice around the window edge.. is that common? or really due to high humidity? any advise

it may be due to there are some little spaces between the windows. this is what i think, as my previous rented condo had this problem too.

it is warmer today already. it was -22c plus wind chill effect = -30c something the day before

I hate the snow - so deep. at least 6 inches. Lucky we have a nice neighbour who help us to "blow" the snow, otherwise, will take ages to plow the driveway before we could leave home.

so quiet in the office as most people claimed "working at home". so

here I'm at BK

Let me join you ladies again! I live in Richmond Hill. My girl is 4.5 month-old now.

Today, she could turn her body totally.... from front to back and back to front!

Did you go to Boxing week shopping? I find there is not much big sale on this year. I guess the economy is better and no need to reduce that much.

did not do any boxing week shopping at all. my husband is too lazy to go out. we just out for one day to the mall to shop for the food (have big party on Dec27). but so cloud. can't even find the parking and all hot pot stuff were gone.. have to go from one supermarket to another -keep looking for the stuff. :-(

got a lot of x'mas present? we did have 4.. how amazing. we never thought about that.
most of them are from my godchildren - one is the fruit basket, one is the M&M gum machine (they will have to use it when they come to visit us), a box of cholocate and the canister (for their candies wor)
even thou' most of the stuff are for their own, but at least I got my so called x'mas gift la..

should be content and no complaint lor.

i stayed at home all the four days, so relaxing.
we have x'mas party at my home on christmas eve. i have prepared ribs, turkeys, salad and drinks. my sisters brought sushi and beef.
my girls had got lots of presents, 10 each.
still in holidays mood now. looking for another long week end to come.

you are so lucky, still in holiday mood.. I have to come back to work for the year end closing. office is so quiet as 95% of the staff are taking this week off. only the Accounting team are working hard here. :-(

supposingly the next long weekend will be the new year. but since US office is open on the 3rd.. we have to come back to work on that day. poor me. :-(

hey CKKWKL, your x'mas meal is similar to me bor. we have soup, mesh potato, turkey, veggie, bread + sushi. Italian dessert and chocolate. just keep eating eating eating.

there is another big meal coming on the new year eve. just can't imagine how could i get rid of such extra lbs after the "eating" season.
