My daughter will start at lesson 20, level 1. North Point centre confirmed with me that there will be a new course starting from Nov 04, 2011 onwards.
I also want to join Kornhill session as we would reach the centre within walking distance. The centre staff told me it might be easier to move to Kornhill centre when my daughter reach level 2 as level 1 class ratio is 1:6 while level 2 is 1:10.
I know Kornhill opened 2 new classes starting from lesson 1 for level 1 last week but all full already when I checked with the staff today.
The centre eventually offered me the class at Kornhill on Friday. Not need to travel to North Point. That's a good news for me.
By the way, I also want my daugher to attend Read for Fun class to learn phonics.
As per school, if I could get 2-3 more studetns for the class, they could help and arrange as they have 3 potential students now.
Pls feel free to let me know if anyone is interested in joining the phonics class. My preferred time slot will be 6:00-6:45, Monday and Wed as there are 2 lessons each week.
Finally I get a place for my son at Kornhill too. Hope he will like it. For those whose kids joined the course last month... Do your kids like the class?
