Car washing is a domestic helper duty and it can be statedin the green contract P.4 item no.5 for sure.

I tried to call you but nobody answer, I will call again later.

Dear Mrsrose,

My new maid will arrive this Sat, and we hire her under my name!
My husband and I will move form existing apartment soon, but the maid will continue to live in this existing apartment with my 99 and 62. So will I break the law.

Also, as my new home is very close to my existing one, I will ask the maid to help to do house work at both home, will it ok?

請問我工人剛完第二份合約,佢係星期六放假, 如果佢打算一次過由21/12放晒D大假, 咁佢邊一日要返工.

另外,我是否要包足佢來回的機票,還是只比一個象徵式的出境費佢(e.g $xxx).

又如果佢只返大陸,我是否要比足佢來回菲律賓的機票錢佢?

你好, 我第1次請印印, 我請的工人是現在港工作的, 但佢自己辭職, 我經agent介紹覺得合意才請的, 我知可能會有好多問題, 不過個人覺得點都係駁一鋪, 反正起碼溝通到同問過佢煮飯技巧佢都答到, 而且只係照顧老人同做家務, 所以照駁, 但我10月14日簽約, 我既agent竟然10月22日仲未幫我交表到入境署, 佢既答案係話個工人要唔做出返黎先可以交form, 唉佢咁搞咪有排都搞唔到visa? (個工人自己同我講話做到11月頭, 但佢話佢現僱主想佢做到12月等新工人黎喎)
我想問係咪要個工人正式唔做先可以再搞第2個visa, 咁由入表開始計大概幾時先出到個 no., 另外如果有no. 要等幾耐先可以出正式visa, 係咪可以唔經agent自己去交加快信, 咁會唔會快o的, 但因為我只係請黎照顧老人家, 咁樣求情會唔會快o的呢? thks!

Holiday

I hired a HK finished contract Philippines maid who have been working in HK for 18 years. She reported duty on 11/22 (Thu). Do I need to give her holiday on the coming Sunday (11/25) because she only works for me for 3 days? I know I only need to give her holdiay if she work for 7 days but she said that's only the rule for new comer (the maid who is first time come to HK) and she entitles to have all Sunday off and Public Holiday even on the first 3 months. Please check and advise.

您好!我想請問我個印尼工人既Visa已經批左同羅左,就連2,400外傭稅都交了,但工人仍然在印尼未到香港,那麼我現在可唔可以叫工人唔好到香港工作呢?有沒有breach contract?使唔使賠錢呢?

my bun has stole my personal bank letter, if i call police, what will happen? my agent said it is very complicated, suggest me not to do it, instead just ask her to sign release letter... is this true?

我想申請一個現身在菲律賓的工人來港, 領事館說我尚欠air-ticket/ticket exchange voucher(open date).

現在剛book了一張三個月限期, 寫了一月九日到港的機票, 請問這張機票是否就是領事館所要求的, 還是還有另一種類別的機票呢?

我現在的菲傭要解約回鄉, 但可以等待這個新工人到港後才離港. 這樣, 我該對入境署說是replacement, 還是新加一個工人呢? 而日期上應該如可填寫才好呢(表格IDE407K)? 事關現在的工人甚至可以教新工人一頭半個月才離開.

放大假最好計算方法如下:
人工計到最後工作天即: 01/12-21/12
第3&4年大假錢 : 8日+9日共17日
補回22/12休息日+25/12勞工假+1/1勞工假
返HK日再重新起計人工

僱主要俾佢來回的機票。

法例無講佢只返大陸，僱主是否要比佢來回菲律賓的機票錢，你要同工人講清楚你會唔會折現俾佢。

重新申請唔駛等佢released出黎先攪，可以先入紙不過Visa就一定要工人已離港先會出。申請需時1個至個半月，入紙後7-10日出VCA no.，可以唔經agent自己去交加快信，交左信後約2星期內出visa。請黎照顧老人家，如有醫生紙或覆診信咁樣求情會快D的既。

未到港唔算break contract亦唔駛賠錢，記得問Agent攞返個簽証及寫信通知入境處取消工人簽証。

ANS:{Strictly speaking, the maid have to staying together with the employer in the Employment Contract address. However, at this present moment you are still staying with your in-laws. So if you moved out and you don't report, who will know?}

Also, as my new home is very close to my existing one, I will ask the maid to help to do house work at both home, will it ok?

ANS:{The maid can only work for the employer and the address in her employment contract. Other then that it is in breach of the Immigration Ordinance and Labour Law. You will also put yourself in danger because the maid can report to the departments and turn you in.}

ANS:{Her 18 years experience is not working for you. Her contract with you is as a new employee. Her first 3 months entitles her for NO PAY LABOUR Holiday only. But she is entitled for the one off day per week (can be Sunday or weekday depending on you).

Her working days with you till 25th Nov is on the third day (3 days work), but the next Sunday 1st Dec will be her 11th day of work with you. 3 days will be too early for you but 11 days will be too long for her. I suggest you pay her half day salary of the 25th Nov.

Nevertheless, judging from your maid's 18 years of experience, she will not be happy about this arrangement. In view of peace and harmony, you can be more generous and forget about this and pay her full day instead.}

You have your rights to report to police but just as your agent advice, it can be complicated.

I don't know what you mean by "to sign release letter...".
