I feel very frustrated now... My university said they have collected all the documents for my appeal... But I enroled the course in September already.. Do you think I should take the course after I've got the result of the appeal or stick with the original plan? 😖😖😖😖
I've got PR already... But my lawyer said it's difficult to appeal and it takes time. So he asked me to take the bridging programme..
I wanna know if I need to take another OET for the re-application as it will be expired after the completion of the course.
Which univeristy and which year did you graduate? Your application just doesn't meet criteria two??
Do you know what kind of information or evidence that your University has collected to appeal?
Btw when did you start your application, I started mine since April 2014 and I am very frustrated in dealing with ahpra. However, I still try to appeal and taking bringing course at the same time as I also think the appeal process may take a long time.
When will your OET expire? I heard people saying that they still need to take another OET test in case it really expires at the time of re application. But I think you can try to email your co for more information.
And how did you find your lawyer? In case if successfully appeal, and found out ahpra made a mistake ,can we ask for any compensation from them?
I studied in CUHK, graduated in 2007. I've asked my CO and he just asked me to view the link about re application after the bridging program. According to it, I don't need another OET as I will be continuously taking their approved course. However, in the AGOS-40 form, it states that we have to take the course within 12 months of completing the course. Ive submitted my application at the end of 2013 while they asked for more documents support during the years. So my OET expires because of their slow process. I'm really angry at it. Anyway, Ive sent an email to ask for clarification about it.
The lawyer is from Melbourne as I've bought an apartment and he helps me to handle it with the Vendor. Although he said appeal doesn't work, I would still do it.
The whole thing is ridiculous and I think they should have some allowance for our cases.
