Yes. Quite loud as well. But as the size is not small, the sound does not cause a problem to me. And also according to my wife, she does not notice the sound of turning.

1. Yes. No need for PC.
2. It does not have slots for other media, but it can record video clips and transfer to FTP server automatically (with the newest firmware)
3. This depends very much on size, quality and amount of time. I have set the size to largest, quality to highest, and it is around 100-150KB/s per cam. It will be worth if you subscribe to unlimited data plan.

U are using Vivotek (model PT-7137) which can browse from 3G phone, with recording software, please explain more, is it I can record directly into my 3G phone?
2. What's the meanings of support FTP and email of pictures and clips?
3. Can I view in audio, is it also internal microphone?

1. "browse from 3G phone" and "bundled with recording software" are 2 distinct features. The recording software is to be installed in your PC for monitor and recording up to 16 vivotek IP cams.

2. The IP cam can capture snapshots or video clips when motion is detected or at intervals. The snapshots and video clips captured will be automatically sent to predefined email address or FTP server.

3. This model has built-in mic and supports audio, but the volume is quite low. The demo sites may have audio disabled.

hi, i have installed vivotek PT7135, i can view it from the office, but no sound. do you know why? thanks

I have the same situation with you last month. Same IP cam, same router and same ISP. My friend finally helped me to set up successfully. Maybe you can tell me what's have you done and what's the situation now, see if i can help you.

我最近裝左支seteye , 唔係自己裝的 , 我是電腦白痴 , 但又想睇住屋企個囝囝 , 所以不斷想搵Panasonic , 但Panasonic又真係貴左d , 同埋我怕自己又唔識裝 , 所以搵左一間網上賣ipcam的公司 , 間野都唔錯 , 幫人裝埋 , 裝好左先收錢 , 仲幫我申請埋個域名 , 但佢地有個會員服務我覺得幾好 , 我唔洗成日記住自己個域名的 , 只要記得我個會員號碼就可以login自己屋企的ipcam了,d師父都幾好人,有問必答,我而加對ipcam了解左好多,佢地賣的cam有demo睇,比個網址你地得閒上去參考下 http://www.guardtron.com
