this is my husband research finding ..

he treated the baby products like research for his car ...

european stroller are more sturdy, and more heavy duty . .but also bigger and heavier

japanese (combi) are less sturdy, and they are more compact, baby out grow it faster

korean... not very good as in not strong and not durable. . not recommended..

and for highchair... he doesn't want anything plastic .. cos he thinks tat wood ones are better and easier to clean and more durable and last longer .

for bed. .. he is ok with japanese, as long as wood.

for carseat.. as long as brand is well known and tested and can fit baby..

But then cos 1/2 blood generally are bigger .. so if u want a seat that last longer .. better to get european or american brand .............

my hubby is heading towards that attitude too. He wants to give baby all the quality stuff, but would not mind 2nd hand at all , as it's eco-friendly and i said got the bless from the baby who used it before.
