You may try to lie down on the bed and have your baby to drink while he/she on the bed. I dont know if you know what I mean. I used to do it, especially at night, it is very convenice if you can do that as you can sleep while feeding.
Yes, it is always good to feed directly as that can stimulate the production.

Can't agreed more with xother, this is how I did it and probably why I could BF for so long. This is the easliest way of having some rest at the same time.
